Bodywork

“Where there is no movement, there is pain. Where there is movement, there is no pain.” -Traditional Chinese Proverb

Bodywork is considered a central tenant of Chinese medicine. Tui na (Chinese massage), cupping, and gua sha (“scraping”) are all powerful ways to create more movement in our tissues. Improving circulation, breaking up fascial adhesions and releasing trigger points leads to the liberation of energy. Pain and tension are diminished.

While bodywork is most effective within the context of a holistic Chinese medicine treatment plan, these 25 minute mini-sessions are a great alternative to committing to a more comprehensive approach.

Craniosacral therapy and rehabilitative massage may also be incorporated into these sessions, depending on your needs.
